September 2020 – Some happy news – Jean de Dieu (also known to many as Fletcher) came to Britain with me as a student ambassador for the project, to promote the project by meeting donor groups, sponsors and to assist in fundraising. Sadly, the day after we arrived the lockdown procedures were put into place and most of our plans had to be abandoned. Nothing daunted he achieved a great deal on our behalf and he made the most of his time here to develop his passion – photography. I feel sure you will be very impressed by the photographs.He has now returned to Kigali with a contract to work for KCP as site manager and communications officer.
